The Richmond Little League Opening Day Parade and Ceremony is headed for Nicholl Park this Sat., March 12, according to Coach Pablo Ramirez. The community is invited to come out and help the kids kick off their new season.
The annual parade will start at 8 a.m. at the Richmond Civic Center parking lot at 24th and Nevin Ave. and continue toward Nicholl Park at 3230 Macdonald Ave.
“We’ll have [an] Opening Day Ceremony MC’d by former player and Coach Marvin Webb, with [the] first pitch from Richmond Mayor Tom Butt,” said Coach Ramirez.
The first games will start at 10 a.m. Saturday at the park, said the coach. Learn more about Richmond Little League here.
