Richmond police say a fight involving students and adults near Sylvester Greenwood Academy today led to at least one shot being fired, but no one was hurt. The incident in the 800 block of Chanslor Avenue happened around 12:06 p.m., and minor damage was reported to the school building.
The suspect left before officers arrived. Both Sylvester Greenwood Academy and the nearby Leadership Public Schools campus were briefly put on lockdown while police secured the area, but classes continued as normal.
