Richmond City Manager Sasha Curl on Tuesday encouraged residents to join two festive events this Saturday: Cops & Goblins at the Richmond Police Department, and Fall Festival at Nicholl Park.

“Cops & Goblins” runs from 11-1 p.m. at RPD headquarters at 1701 Regatta Blvd. City Attorney Curl described the event as “a lot of fun” and praised the decorations and staff effort led by City of Richmond Crime Prevention Manager Michelle Milam. Children and families are invited to enjoy games, costumes, treats and a warm gathering.

The same day, the city invites families to the annual Fall Festival at Nicholl Park (3230 Macdonald Ave) from noon to 2 p.m. Curl noted that the festival is part of the city’s Neighbor-to-Neighbor grant program and thanked California Volunteers for assisting with the event. The celebration features fall-themed games, displays, a pumpkin hunt, hay ride and petting animal farm.

Both events are free, family-friendly and open to all Richmond residents.
