Groundwork Richmond will host a community Arbor Day celebration where residents will help plant trees, engage in hands-on learning activities and enjoy free food and refreshments.
The action will take place Saturday, Oct. 18, along the Richmond Greenway between S. 2nd and 4th streets from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Participants of all ages are invited to help out and meet neighbors.
