A stabbing victim in Richmond’s North & East neighborhood was airlifted via helicopter to a trauma center Monday.
The incident was reported in the 2800 block of Grant Avenue at about 6:15 p.m., police said.
Richmond Fire Station E66 personnel joined forces with AMR paramedics and REACH Air Medical Services to transport the victim via helicopter, according Richmond Firefighters Local 188, which shared photos from the response.
The victim was not been identified, and their condition wasn’t immediately known. The incident is under investigation and no arrests have been made, police said.
