The talented “Drew the Barber” has established a shop in his hometown. And the new business is about to host a truly grand opening during Cinco de Mayo weekend.
The Grand Opening for The Gallery Barbershop at 4200 Macdonald Ave., Unit F, in Richmond, will feature food vendors, a car meet and live music from 5-8 p.m. on Sunday, May 4.
There is plenty of reason for this new business to celebrate. Five years ago at just 21 years old, “Drew the Barber” discovered his love for cutting hair, leading to him securing a professional license and ultimately opening his own barbershop in Richmond.
This decision was not only a personal achievement but also a way for him to give back to the community that shaped him.
By establishing a barbershop in his hometown, Drew aims to create a space where locals can come for grooming services while fostering connections within the community. His barbershop will serve as a hub for social interaction, making it a vital part of the local culture.
