Looking for a job? If so, the time is right to set your smartphones for the Contra Costa County Office of Education (CCCOE) countywide “Spring Job Fair” Saturday, Feb. 22 at Pleasant Hill Middle School from 9 a.m. to 11:30 a.m.
The West Contra Costa Unified School District will join 19 other districts and charter schools countywide at the Job Fair seeking educators to fill positions for the current and 2025-2026 school years. Job opportunities range from full-time teaching positions, certificated support staff roles, higher education openings, PreK positions to substitutes, according to the CCCOE. Competitive benefits and compensation offerings are available; applicants are asked to arrive prepared for interviews and possible sign-on bonus offers for certain positions.
“This event allows candidates to connect with school district leaders and decision-makers all in one place,” said
Contra Costa County Superintendent of Schools Lynn Mackey. “Whether you’re a teacher or an administrator looking to make a career change, this event could help you find the right fit for your future.”
Also on hand will be college and university personnel with information about credential programs for those interested in expanding their education.
