A Richmond nonprofit plans to hold a holiday celebration for more than 100 children impacted by gun violence this holiday season.

From 2-5:30 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 22, Keyz 2 The Future and its partners will host the 5th Annual Adopt a Child for the Holidays Celebration at 322 Harbour Way, Suite 25 & 26, in Richmond.

Children at this event will be provided with clothes, shoes, toys, and a festive party. The event will serve up food and prize raffles. Children must be in attendance to receive these benefits.

“This impactful initiative has grown significantly over the years and now extends its support to communities in Richmond, Sacramento, Vallejo, Benicia, Pittsburg, Antioch, Oakland, Rio Vista, and Fairfield,” the nonprofit states.
