House of Loving Hands (HOLH), a nonprofit that provides a safe haven for abused women and their children, will show 126 children the time of their lives at its Christmas Toy Giveaway at its annual Christmas Party at CoBiz Richmond.
But to make the season bright for these local children, donations of toys and financial support are still needed. Deneshia Clemons, founder of HOLH, said the best way to donate is via the nonprofit’s website. Contact the organization to support its event with toys.
HOLH’s holiday event this month will solely serve the children already signed up for it; the list is now closed. Aside from the toys, children will enjoy lunch, a visit from Santa, hot chocolate and activities like face painting, cookie decorating, ornament making and other arts & crafts.
Numerous local businesses are also lending their support to the seasonal cause, such as CoBiz, Phila Burger, The Factory Bar and more.
