The driver escaped uninjured after their utility van rolled down an embankement near Wildcat Canyon Regional Park over the weekend.
The van ended up on its side about 30 feet down the steep hillside in the 6000 block of McBryde Avenue, according to Richmond Firefighters Local 188, the union that represents city firefighters.
Contra Costa County Fire assisted the Richmond Fire Deaprtment at the scene.
What led to the accident wasn’t immediately known.
