A Roller Disco Dance Party rocked Unity Park in Richmond Saturday night.
Supporting the cause were Richmond firefighters, who rolled up one of their reserve ladder trucks to suspend the event’s disco ball over the dance floor.
Urban Tilth, Rich City Rollers and Rich City Rides collaborated on the free-admission event.
Richmond Firefighters Local 188, the union representing city firefighters, provided this video footage from the party.
“The 100’ ladder was a great addition to the event as members from E67, R67 and T64 watched everyone roller dance the night away,” Local 188 stated. “We are so glad we were invited to attend the event and provide the centerpiece for the party.”
