The City of Richmond’s Economic Development Committee has announced everybody’s favorite foodie fest—“Taste of Richmond”—is taking place Sat., July 15 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Richmond Civic Center. Tickets are on sale for attendees and organizers are calling out for small business vendors to sign up.
The recurring event, which has moved to a larger venue this year, celebrates “Richmond’s diverse food and beverage scene,” according to organizers. Aside from tickets being available now for attendees, organizers are also on the lookout for “Richmond restaurants, caterers, food and beverage manufacturers and mobile food vendors to showcase their signature products” by registering for the event. Vendor set-up at the event will take place from 8–10 a.m. July 15.
Organizers on Facebook called Taste of Richmond “the hottest event of the summer” and a “sizzling celebration of local flavors, entrepreneurship and collaboration.” The event also features live music and an all-around rich cultural experience.
Richmond small businesses wanting to be vendors at Taste of Richmond can register for $25 here. The deadline to register to participate in the event is Mon., June 12. Questions about registration can be referred to Lamarla Guillory or Ronnie Mills at [email protected].
Community members interested in attending the event can purchase tickets—which will be on sale until July 5th—for $25/general admission and $49/VIP access. Tickets for attendees include “a complimentary taste from each participating vendor, with the option to purchase additional portions,” said organizers.
The Richmond Civic Center is located at 450 Civic Center Plaza in Richmond. Stay updated on Taste of Richmond here.
