Have you ever fantasized about learning how to design jewelry? Or about crafting ceramics or creating your own dream journal?

All these creative skills and more are up for exploration at the Richmond Art Center (RAC) when it opens up registration for its spring semester classes Wed., Feb. 15 at 10 a.m.

A wide variety of classes are available for adults (18-plus), youth (typically age 5-17) and families (all ages) at the RAC, including options like “Botanical Expressions in Pastel and Mixed Media,” “Smartphone Photography: Photos That Tell a Story,” “Family Print Shop” and dozens of more intriguing selections. Check out the entire class catalogue for all ages here.

“We offer need-based scholarships for eligible children, teens and adults,” stated the RAC on its website, and encouraged people to apply early for their Art Boost/scholarship here. Questions about scholarships can be referred to [email protected] or call (510) 620-6772.

The RAC is centrally located at 2540 Barrett Ave. in Richmond. Learn more about the center on its website.
