RPD seeks man suspected in at least two groping cases

The Richmond Police Department have released images of a suspect in connection with at least two sexual assault cases in the city during which victims were groped on the sidewalk.

In both cases, the suspect walked by the victim on the sidewalk, acknowledged them or smiled at them, and then turned around and groped them, police said. The incidents occured in the northern/central districts of the city.

The suspect in both incidents was wearing the same clothing as depicted in the photograph, a black jacket, maroon or dark-colored sweatshirt with a hood, gray jeans and white and black-colored shoes. The suspect is also wearing a black or dark-colored backpack, police said.
