El Cerrito man fatally struck by train in Richmond

An El Cerrito man was fatally struck by a train near the intersection of Carlson and Cutting boulevards Saturday afternoon, police said.

Ethan Larudee, 44, was on Union Pacific property when he was hit on the tracks at about 2 p.m., according to police. Along with Richmond police, Union Pacific Railroad police and the Contra Costa Coroner’s Office responded to the scene.
