Confident Catwalk, a women’s empowerment event that encourages women to walk unapologetically in their purpose, is set to strut into CoBiz Richmond Sat., Nov. 13 from 12-4 p.m.
According to host Contesa Tate, an entrepreneur and spiritual leader, the event will feature a catwalk and an award ceremony “honoring women who have made an impact in their community,” as well as a lineup of women and young ladies as guest speakers “who will enlighten and inspire us with their stories and motivation on how to walk in your purpose.”
The event will spotlight Jaidyn Tate, Tammy Willis, Toni Rochelle, Vanessa Jackson and Christina Alexandria as part of its roster that day.
Confident Catwalk will also showcase women-owned vendors, entertainment and DJ Joaquin Andrade “mixing the hottest music to set the atmosphere on fire” said Tate.
Event sponsors include Magnolia Engineering & Construction, Oakland African American Chamber of Commerce, TLC Coaching and Consulting LLC, Black Minds Matter Too and NAMI of Contra Costa County.
Tickets for the Nov. 13 event are $20 per person and can be purchased on Eventbrite. CoBiz Richmond is located at 1503 Macdonald Ave., Suite A in Richmond.
