The U.S. Postal Service (USPS) is hosting a free hiring event in Richmond on Saturday.
The hiring events runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Richmond Hilltop Carrier Annex at 4180 Lakeside Drive.
The event will guide job-seekers on creating and submitting their applications using on-site computers.
Attendees are required to register to this eventbrite.
“We will have sessions at 10:00 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 1 p.m.,” USPS said.
USPS has job openings in Contra Costa, Alameda, Marin, Sonoma, Solano ad Yolo counties, as well as the Stockton, Tahoe and Truckee areas. Open positions include in mail processing (clerks and mail handlers); delivery (city and rural carriers); transportation (tractor trailer operators) and maintenance (mechanics, laborer custodian and automotive technician).
