The YMCA of the East Bay is rolling out a special offer of free two month memberships for teens, and all that’s needed to take advantage of it is showing proof of vaccination.
Teens ages 13-17 years old can visit YMCA of the East Bay branches in Richmond, Albany, downtown Berkeley, Oakland and Pleasant Hill during August 2021 and show their proof of vaccination to receive their two free months. Click here for specific location info.
A short-term, free membership isn’t the only thing teens can walk away with; teens showing their proof of vaccination will also be entered into YMCA of the East Bay’s “Our Best Shot Raffle,” where they can win $500 cash giveaways, Nintendo Switch, iPads, Warriors tickets and other swag.
The offer is all part of the YMCA of the East Bay’s effort to encourage and promote vaccines among teens, said the organization’s Anita Retzinger in a correspondence.
