San Pablo police hope members of the public will help them identify a gun-toting robbery suspect seen in newly-released video footage.

At 3 p.m. on Tuesday, June 8, an employee of Taqueria El Mezcal at 14260 San Pablo Ave. was robbed at gunpoint of a bag of cash as she was returning from the bank, police said.

Public surveillance cameras helped police identify both the vehicle as well as the passenger in the vehicle. That passenger, Tyrone Ratliff, 19, of Richmond was arrested Wednesday and police said they recovered evidence linking him to the crime during a search of his home.

“The gunman remains at large,” police said. “We are asking the community’s help in identifying him and his whereabouts.”

Anyone with information is asked to call SPPD Detectives at (510) 215-3150. Callers can remain anonymous.
