Are you a local student seeking a summer job in the great outdoors? The East Bay Regional Park District says it hires students ages 16-24 to fulfill approximately 400 part-time and full-time paid seasonal positions each year throughout the East Bay.

According to the district, it is a major employer of students in Contra Costa and Alameda counties, with an array of available positions including lifeguards (not limited to students), gate attendants, student laborers, interns, recreation leaders, interpretive student aides and public safety student aides. The district says it encompasses “nearly 125,000 acres in 73 parks, including over 1,250 miles of trails and 55 miles of shoreline,” in Contra Costa and Alameda counties.

  2. First of all I would like to say terrific blog! I had a quick question that I’d like
to ask if you do not mind. I was interested to find out how you center yourself and clear your
mind prior to writing. I’ve had a difficult time clearing my mind in getting my ideas out there.
I truly do take pleasure in writing however it just seems like the
first 10 to 15 minutes are usually lost simply just trying
to figure out how to begin. Any ideas or
    tips? Kudos!
