Are you a local student seeking a summer job in the great outdoors? The East Bay Regional Park District says it hires students ages 16-24 to fulfill approximately 400 part-time and full-time paid seasonal positions each year throughout the East Bay.
According to the district, it is a major employer of students in Contra Costa and Alameda counties, with an array of available positions including lifeguards (not limited to students), gate attendants, student laborers, interns, recreation leaders, interpretive student aides and public safety student aides. The district says it encompasses “nearly 125,000 acres in 73 parks, including over 1,250 miles of trails and 55 miles of shoreline,” in Contra Costa and Alameda counties.
