Great news for fans of El Garage (a.k.a. everyone): after a one-month closure, the owners of Richmond’s ever-popular eatery are reopening for take-out and delivery service today. Those who have been waiting patiently to get their quesabirria taco fix can now either pick up their orders or submit them online here. The restaurant will run limited hours of operation Fridays through Sundays.
Also cause for excitement: El Garage is rolling out some new menu specials and will be extending its schedule in February.
The Montero family’s business had temporarily closed over the holiday season so that they could spend some quality time with their grandparents, whom they hadn’t seen in a long time.
“We are so excited to be back and serving the community, also super excited for people to try our new menu specials that we will be having weekly,” El Garage told The Standard. “We have such amazing support system and so many regulars that we are excited to see even if it’s just a quick hello and goodbye when they pick up their food. We have many things planned for the months to come and we can’t wait!”
El Garage is located at 1428 Macdonald Ave. in downtown Richmond. Hours of operation are Fri. 12-3 p.m. & 4-7 p.m.; Sat. 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. & 4-7 p.m.; and Sun. 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. & 4-7 p.m. Learn more about El Garage here and contact the restaurant at [email protected].
