Richmond Memorial Auditorium is being set up as a COVID-19 vaccine distribution site.

The city is partnering with Contra Costa Health Services (CCHS) on the effort.

“Once the site is open to the public, CCHS, in collaboration with the City of Richmond, will announce the dates and hours of operation to the public,” city officials say.

At this time, frontline healthcare workers and people ages 65 or over are eligible to receive vaccines, which remain in short supply. As of Sunday, more than 50,400 vaccine doses had been administered in the County.
