  1. Very unsettling to hear about teen shot at Wendell Park on 8/6/2020. My daughter and I walk around there all the time in the late afternoon to evening and it scares me to think such brazen acts are happening in our neighborhood. We all need to remember that there are small children in these neighborhoods, they can’t go to school right now so like many parents, I walk around the neighborhood with my 4yo to get some fresh air. It’s usually the highlight of her day. Wendell park is there for the families and children of our area, not for the thugs and criminals.
