Eighty-seven pistol and rifle rounds were found at the scene of a shooting in Richmond early Sunday, police said.

No one was injured, but “two houses and seven cars were struck by gunfire” in the apparent shootout that occurred at about 3 a.m. in the 5200 block of Fresno Avenue, Richmond police Capt. Al Walle said.

“…It appeared there had been a gun battle between three shooters,” Walle said.

No arrests were reported. Further details about the incident were not immediately known.
