The coronavirus outbreak doesn’t mean you won’t have access to 5-star, chef-prepared, farm-to-table meals in Richmond.

Anaviv Catering and Events and Oren’s Kitchen, Richmond-based catering companies that service the wider Northern California region, has been greatly impacted by the cancellation of corporate and social events. So, for the time being, they have cleverly reinvented their offerings.

On Sundays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., the business at 600 Hoffman Blvd. is hosting a drive-through pizza station where residents can pick up a $20 artisan hand-tossed, wood-fired pizza and garden salad that’s enough for two people.

Also, the companies are offering to deliver their farm-to-table meals directly to homes. And if you really want that restaurant experience without having to go to a restaurant, you can have a private chef come over at $65 per hour, plus food costs.

These are resources for anyone wanting to stay away from public places while still having access to fresh, chef-prepped meals.
