The Richmond Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying a man suspected of illegally dumping hazardous material in a playground in the May Valley neighborhood.
Over the past two months, police received numerous complaints from community members regarding the illegal dumping of hazardous material, which consisted of several bags of adult diapers filled with human waste, in the playground at La Moine Park (Cheese Park) at 3444-3530 Morningside Drive in Richmond.
“This has been an ongoing problem,” police said.
Police are sharing the image above in the hope that community members will identify the suspect, who is described as a black man, about 6-feet tall, 270 pounds, in his 30s with some facial hair.
