Weekend service for the Richmond Ferry ends Nov. 3 as San Francisco Bay Ferry transitions to its winter schedule.
The weekend service was part of a trial period that began in August as a result of higher than expected weekday ridership for the ferry service between San Francisco and Richmond’s new terminal next to the Craneway Pavilion, which opened in January.
Richmond’s weekday service will remain unchanged. As weekend service was launched as a trial, it wasn’t immediately clear if it will return next year.
