The California Highway Patrol closed all eastbound lanes of Interstate Highway 580 following a fatal collision this morning.
A female pedestrian was reportedly struck multiple times in the eastbound lanes just west of Cutting Boulevard at 5:41 a.m., according to CHP.
All lanes have since reopened.
