The next monthly compost giveaway for West County residents is set for Wednesday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., at 101 Pittsburg Ave. in Richmond.
Every first Wednesday of the month, West County households can pick up for free two cubic yards of compost at this Richmond location.
Residents wanting free compost should know that it is self-service only, so they should bring their own bag, bin, bucket, and shovel to load the material. Valid identification stating residency is required.
