A mobile food vending truck called La Korita, is set to open soon at 1291 Rumrill Blvd., near Sanford Avenue.
On Tuesday, the City of San Pablo Planning Commission approved a conditional use permit for the mobile food vending truck by a 4-0 vote, according to Sandra Marquez, Associate Planner for the City of San Pablo.
“They are planning to operate after the 10 day appeals period is over,” Marquez said, adding, “We know businesses are struggling and the City of San Pablo does what it can to help.”
The food truck will serve a variety of Mexican-style dishes and will offer two tables for outdoor dining, according to city documents. It will be located at the site of an existing tire business and will be open to the public from 7 a.m to 8 p.m. daily, city documents state.
