FoodMaxx on Wednesday rolled out a new mobile app that provides shoppers with digital coupons and special offers to increase savings, according to The Save Mart Companies, which operates FoodMaxx, Save Mart and Lucky grocery stores.

FoodMaxx said it partnered with Swiftly to provide customers with “seamless ordering and digital coupon download through their mobile devices.” The app can be downloaded at the Apple App and Google Play stores.

“This debut is just the beginning – with frequent app updates showcasing new functionality such as click & collect, subscription delivery to doorstep and contactless checkout, all designed to make omni-channel shopping even easier for our FoodMaxx customers,” said Barbara Walker, chief marketing officer, The Save Mart Companies.

There are 53 FoodMaxx stores throughout the Bay Area and Central Valley, including at 13220 San Pablo Ave. in San Pablo and at 1370 Fitzgerald Drive in Pinole.
