The Artisan Kitchen and Café, a European-style café in Richmond’s Marina Bay neighborhood that features organic, seasonal and locally grown produce and meats, has plans to open a new outdoor Wine Garden, according to proprietor Liane Ingham. The café’s wine and beer application is expected to be completed by mid-July and its license shortly thereafter.
According to Ingham, the café aims to open its Wine Garden for lunch and later add evening and weekend hours in the fall.
“We have redesigned our patio to create a more intimate experience and we are all very excited to offer our community wines from our chosen boutique wineries from the Bay Area,” Ingham told The Standard in a correspondence.
Leading up to the anticipated launch of its new Wine Garden later this month, the café is open 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. (temporary hours) Monday through Friday. Aside from being open for food service with seating inside and out, the café also offers take-out or delivery via ChowNow or GrubHub.
