The annual Independence Day Eve fireworks show over the Bay is set to begin at 9:15 p.m. this Wednesday.
And like every year, Marina Bay Park and Craneway Pavilion will become great places to watch the show while enjoying free live music and fun family-friendly activities.
The community is expected to come out in full force to watch the Oakland Symphony perform in the 11th Annual Independence Eve Celebration Concert at the Craneway Pavilion at 1414 Harbour Way South. The event begins with pre-concert festivities at 6:30 p.m., followed by the Oakland Symphony concert at 8 p.m. Along with the concert, there will be a performance by the Oakland Symphony Youth Orchestra, wine, food, family-friendly activities, an instrument petting zoo, and post-concert fireworks over San Francisco Bay accompanied by the Oakland Symphony.
Marina Bay Park
Another great spot to watch the fireworks will be Marina Bay Park. From 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., the park will have a Kids Zone with bounce houses and giant inflatable slides, arts and crafts, food and information vendors, a local DJ, and more. The event is sponsored by the City of Richmond Community Services Department.
Riggers’ Loft Wine Company
Interested in a wine with your fireworks? From 6-10 p.m., Riggers Loft Wine Company at 1325 Canal Blvd. will hold a party before and during the fireworks show. Live music by Andre Thierry, food trucks and a video game truck for kids. Tickets are $15 to $25 and kids under 6 are free.
