A major annual career fair featuring a long list of high-profile employers is happening at Contra Costa College this Wednesday.

The West Contra Costa Career Fair 2019 runs from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at CCC, located at 2600 Mission Bell Drive in San Pablo. The event has been moved to the college gymnasium due to the weather forecast, according to the listing.

Employers attending this career fair include Chevron Richmond, Phillips 66, C&H Sugar, BioRad, Contra Costa County Courts, and multiple unions recruiting for hundreds of positions such as Service Unit Non RN Managers, Sterile Processing Managers, Health Specialists, Plant Operators, Electricians, Iron Workers and other Industrial Worker positions.

Along with local employment opportunities, the career fair will feature career counseling and résumé review services, services for veterans, youth and disabled job seekers, on-the-job training opportunities, and education resources.

“Most employers may require online applications, but please bring copies of your résumé to personally share with recruiters or employers that are hiring at the event,” organizers said. “Remember to dress professionally!”
