Just over one year after his murder, San Pablo police released a plea to the public on Tuesday to help find those responsible.
Tillis, 27, of Antioch, was fatally shot at Rumrill Gardens Apartments at 1300 Rumrill Blvd. at about 2:51 a.m. on June 12, 2020.
While video surveillance, witness statements and informants helped police sketch a suspect description and identify a suspect vehicle, the case remains unsolved.
“The suspects responsible for this violence are still outstanding,” police said. “Detectives continue to follow-up on all leads as we are committed to bringing this case to a close for Mr. Tillis and his family. However, we are asking for the community’s help in coming forward with any information which may assist Detectives in solving this case.”
