San Pablo police are investigating a fatal shooting early Friday in the 1300 block of Rumrill Boulevard.
Police responded to the scene at 2:51 a.m. and found a 27-year old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, San Pablo police Capt. Brian Bubar said. Despite attempts to provide life-saving measures, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene, Bubar said.
No other victims were located and investigators believe the shooting was a targeted homicide. No arrests have been announced. The victim’s identity is withheld pending family notification.
