A report of a domestic disturbance involving a possible firearm prompted a significant police response at an El Sobrante home Tuesday.
In the end, three people are in custody, and a pellet gun was recovered, according to the Contra Costa Sheriff’s Office.
Just before 10:30 a.m., the sheriff’s office received a call about a domestic incident involving a possible gun in the 5200 block of San Pablo Dam Road, leading to the temporary closure of the roadway. The Richmond Police Department shared the above photo of the road closure about 1:30 p.m., and advised drivers to use alternate routes.
The situation has since resolved, the sheriff’s office reported on social media about 3:30 p.m.
No other information was immediately available about the incident, which remains under investigation, sheriff’s officials said.
