Two guns, a grenade launcher and a lot of drugs were seized during a joint operation involving Richmond and San Pablo police Wednesday that included a search warrant executed at a home in the North & East Neighborhood, police said.
Police encountered the main suspect during a search of a home in the 2600 block of Garvin Avenue, near 26th Street.
“Once inside the home, detectives found the suspect armed with a firearm in the waistband of his pants,” police said.
Police searched the home and found numerous ecstasy pills, a .32 caliber firearm and a grenade launcher. They searched the suspect’s car and found one pound of methamphetamine and a half pound of cocaine.
San Pablo police said two people were arrested, including the main suspect and “one other person on some unrelated warrants.”
Their identities were not immediately available.
