San Pablo police seized in excess of 200 grams of suspected narcotics, including fentanyl, methamphetamine and various prescription-drugs, during a traffic stop in the 13200 block of San Pablo Avenue, near FoodMaxx.
At approximately 12:40 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 1, officers contacted the occupants of a vehicle identified as being suspicious. A records check revealed that one of the occupants, also the registered owner of the vehicle, was on searchable probation for possession of a controlled substance. Both occupants were taken into custody without incident.
The SPPD said the investigation is active and ongoing. No further details regarding the identities of the suspects or their charges were released.
