WestCAT is celebrating the 20th anniversary of its Lynx express bus service by offering 20 days of free rides on all Lynx routes from Sept. 1-Sept. 29.
The initiative aims to thank loyal passengers and encourage new riders to experience the convenience of the Lynx service, which connects West Contra Costa County to San Francisco’s Salesforce Transit Center.
As part of the anniversary festivities, WestCAT is seeking the five longest-serving Lynx riders to honor their commitment. These individuals will receive exclusive 20-Year Lynx merchandise and be recognized at a community celebration.
Passengers are also encouraged to share their Lynx experiences, memories, and photos on social media using the hashtags #MyLynxStory and #LynxTurns20. Those not on social media can submit their stories via email to [email protected].
Throughout September, WestCAT will host various giveaways, contests, and rider appreciation events. Details and announcements will be available on WestCAT’s website and social media platforms.
