Kenston Farms, a meat wholesaler, is hosting a “Mega Meat Sale” now through Sunday, June 15 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the parking lot at the Moose Lodge in El Sobrante.
The Mega Meat Sale is offering cash-strapped shoppers 40 percent discounts on steak, chicken, pork and seafood, with all of Kenston Farms’ meat being raised/sourced in the U.S. and 100 percent all-natural USDA inspected, graded and stamped.
On the menu are deals like 20 ribeye steaks for $39 and bundle boxes of USDA choice and prime steaks, chicken family bundles, seafood variety packs, premium pork cases and specialty shrimp packs. There’s also a “BOGO” deal on all bundle boxes and for 1/4, 1/2 and whole cows upon request.
Other discounts are available for first responders, nurses, military personnel, teachers, students and seniors. Organizers also suggested asking them about how to win a free deep freezer at the event.
The Moose Lodge is located at 4660 Appian Way in El Sobrante. Kenston Farms said it will be there “rain or shine” and to “look for the big truck” in the parking lot. Credit, debit, cash, Cashapp, Venmo & EBT accepted.
