The 179-unit Vista Woods Apartments, an affordable senior housing community in Pinole designed by Bell Design Group, is completed, representatives of the designers announced. According to its website, units appear available to lease.

The property’s design embraces the dramatically sloped 2-acre site, using vertical massing breaks and and open-air breezeway stair to bring airiness and movement to the four-story structure. The design is described as having “a palette of deep greens, bay blues, and sunlit gold—echoing the local landscape—is complemented by wood-look metal siding to warm the façade.”

The development includes rooftop solar, drought-tolerant landscaping, EV charging stations and energy-efficient systems. A newly added bus shelter and an on-site electric ride-share program support residents with limited mobility. Landscaped outdoor spaces, a fitness room, community lounges and an entertainment area aim to foster active, social living.

Studio, one and two bedroom units are offered, all of which include private balconies, in-unit washer/dryer hookups and dishwashers.

Vista Woods housing units are available to income levels ranging between 30 percent and 80 percent of the area’s median income.

According to its website, Vista Woods is leasing its final apartments of the complex. Click here to learn more.
