AC Transit says its new and improved prediction engine will boost prediction accuracy by about 20 percent across the transit agency’s web-based tools and apps, including Google Maps.
Note, however, that digital signs and audio information at bus stops will not use the new prediction engine and may show different predictions.
“We are evaluating options for upgrading or replacing these signs,” the transit agency said.
