The City of Pinole will kick off the holiday season with “Glow Pinole” on Nov. 29 and the inaugural “Shop & Stroll” on Dec. 20.
“Glow Pinole” includes a decorating contest where businesses and residents will be able to transform Pinole into a sparkling winter wonderland, with winning displays receiving special recognition, according to the city.
The inaugural Shop & Stroll event will take place from 5:30-6:30 pm following the Tree Lighting ceremony at Community Corner. Downtown visitors can explore participating businesses, collecting passport stamps for a chance to win prizes. It’s an opportunity to support local businesses and enjoy a festive evening in downtown Pinole, according to the city.
Those interested in participating in Glow Pinole are asked to register at PinoleRec.com by Dec. 15. Downtown businesses interested in participating in Shop & Stroll are encouraged to sign up by emailing [email protected] no later than Nov. 15.
