The Pinole Valley High School homecoming parade will take place Friday afternoon, prompting the need for traffic detours, according to the Pinole Police Department.
The parade will start at about 2 p.m. at Pinole Valley Park at Pinole Valley Road and Savage Avenue. It will follow Pinole Valley Road northbound and conclude in the main drop off/pick up area of Pinole Valley High School at about 3 p.m.
Pinole Valley Road will be closed to all traffic between Ramona Street and Savage Avenue. Drivers will need to take alternate routes during that time.
That evening, Pinole Valley High’s football program will host Bethel for the homecoming game, with a 4:30 p.m. JV game time and a 7 p.m. Varsity game time.
