"Hundreds of boxes found with several known and unknown hazardous materials," San Pablo officials said. Residents within a six block radius of the 900 Block of Stanton Avenue in San Pablo were evacuated and staged at Contra Costa College Gym. Crews remained at the scene throughout the night and will be present through today, officials said. "This is still an active Hazardous Material event and crews are still working to clear up the scene as safely as possible," officials said.
