Effective Jan. 1, fees will be increased for birth, death, and marriage certificates in Contra Costa County.
The fee to apply for a certified copy of a birth certificate will increase from the current $32 to $36; the fee to apply for a certified copy of a death certificate will increase from $25 to $28; and the fee to apply for a certified copy of a marriage license will increase from $19 to $21.
“Fees are for each certificate you choose to purchase,” County officials said.
The fees are also listed on the County’s website at www.ccclerkrec.us.
