All Save Mart, Lucky and Lucky California pharmacies throughout California and Northern Nevada began offering flu shots and immunizations this week. They are free of charge with most insurance plans.

Lucky stores operate in El Cerrito, Hercules and Pinole.

Due to COVID-19, customers are required to wear masks and pharmacists must wear a face covering and face shield. All patients are required to take a pre-vaccination temperature check and pass a New Immunization Consent screening form with questions geared toward ensuring patients are not exhibiting COVID-19 symptoms.

The screenings form is available online and in stores and must be filled out on the day of their flu shot/immunization.

“With COVID-19, it is in everyone’s best health interest to get a flu shot and be up-to-date on their immunizations,” said Robert Vaughan, the company’s executive director of pharmacy. “With conveniently located pharmacies throughout California and Northern Nevada, our pharmacy teams are ready to help our customers and patients safely prepare for the flu season.”
