This weekend, the East Bay Regional Park District will close additional parking lots and staging areas at certain parks with the aim of reducing crowds and reducing the spread of COVID-19. Park District General Manager Robert Doyle is encouraging residents not to drive to regional parks this weekend and to stay in their neighborhoods or visit parks at less crowded times or days.
Miller/Knox Regional Shoreline Park is among parks where the parking lots will close. Point Isabel will remain closed as well.
