The Save Mart Companies announced Friday it still needs to hire temporary workers to meet the demand during the COVID-19 pandemic.
“In addition to the union wages and benefits offered under the company’s contracts with UCFW and Teamsters locals in the region, the company has added temporary weekly bonuses of between $2.50 and $3.50 per hour worked that will be in effect for the time being,” according to the company. “For existing team members, the bonus pay is retroactive to the week of March 8.”
The FoodMaxx in San Pablo is seeking meat and grocery clerks. Those same positions, along with the position of clerk helper, are being sought for the store in Pinole. The Lucky supermarket stores in Pinole and Hercules are each seeking to fill three positions such as multi-purpose clerk and service specialist.
